Most of the cleaning agents that are available on the market are expensive and full of chemicals. This is why you should try the following toilet cleaner that you can make yourself. It is excellent for neutralizing odors and eliminating harmful bacteria and it will always keep your toilet clean and fresh.
Homemade toilet cleaner
Ingredients
- 160 grams of baking soda
- 60 milliliters of lemon juice
- ½ tablespoon of vinegar
- 1 tablespoon of 3% Hydrogen peroxide (it can be found in any pharmacy)
- 15-20 drops of any essential oil
Procedure
Put the baking soda and lemon juice in a small bowl and combine them well. Mix the hydrogen peroxide and vinegar in another bowl and then add this mixture to the previous one, drop by drop. In the end add the essential oil.
Once you combined the two mixtures, make half-ball shapes using a spoon. Place the half-balls on parchment paper and let them dry for at least 4 hours. Letting them dry overnight is even better. Then, store them in a glass jar and keep the jar near the toilet.
As soon as you notice your toilet bowl is dirty just drop one tab in it. You can use them 2-3 times a week to have a perfectly clean toilet at all time.
